Seafarers may appreciate solar energy more than land lovers

While most people like to decorate the inside of a home lavishly many people also have an outdoor area that could be in need of some attention. Decking is popularly installed to create an outdoor area which can be used for relaxing or cooking BBQ's. Decking is also used around marinas and many companies produce this type of flooring specifically for this purpose. A marina is obviously a wet place and water is a constant threat to wood and other materials. Being waterproof is clearly important but it also needs to be non-stick. Even though people that have boats are usually steady on their feet wet flooring could cause an accident. People at sea these days are more environmentally aware and while a boat isn't likely to run with the help of solar energy people that use sails will impact the environment a lot less.

People that can afford to sail should be able to pay for a greener existence on land and now that panels which harness the power of the sun are becoming cheaper, there's no reason why people shouldn't consider changing their energy supplier. The national grid is convenient but the sun will give off heat for free and this could be just the incentive someone needs to make a change. While the initial installation may be slightly expensive people need to concentrate on the potential long term savings that can be made. Some governments even offer people financial incentives if they decide to make the switch.
